The Royal Sonesta Washington DC Capitol Hill

The hotel was amazing. The room size makes other hotel rooms feel tiny. We slept so good, not just based on how much we walked each day but the beds are so incredibly comfortable. We decided to get snacks downstairs and while they are expensive it was on point with other places price wise and we didnt have to leave the hotel late night. If you take the train into the city or need the metro your walk to union station is minimal. You can also find the lime (and other brand) scooters and bikes located all over. While they can be expensive the scooters allowed us to see so much without having to utilizing the metro. The robes and slippers were comfy for lounging around (the kids loved them and really wanted to buy their own.) Robyn helped check us in, she was so kind and helpful. She explained everything we needed to know. Everyone else was also fantastic. We loved this hotel and will absolutely be back. Thank you for outstanding service.

Really nice hotel. The room was a good size and extremely clean. The hotel is in a perfect area for visiting the tourist sites. It also has a really nice restaurant/bar.

Got a free upgrade to a king rook which was huge and spacious. Room was spotless and had high end amenities. Staff were attentive and very responsive. Good location in a quiet neighborhood so no disturbance by traffic noise. It’s a new hotel so well kept and everything looks clean and shiny. The bathroom had fluffy towels, water bottles, premium body lotions and shampoo etc. I will definitely stay here again.

The street view room was a good size and comfortable. The bathroom was nice. The breakfast was fantastic, and we ate several other good meals at the French restaurant that was attached. The hotel was in the perfect location for our touring around Capitol Hill. Staff were excellent and friendly.
